Curtis, a native of Denver, Colorado came to the Bay Area in the early 70s. He has recorded with renown recordings artists Walter, Tramaine, Lynette, and Edwin Hawkins & The Love Center Choir and Daryl Coley & The New Generation Singers. He then became a member of the Band Elements Precise whose performances included, among others, the opening act for Ella Fitzgerald, at UC Berkeley’s Annual Jazz Festival held at the Greek Theater, in Berkeley, CA.
As a member of The New Travelling Voices under the direction of Jacqueline Butler-Hairston, he has traveled with the group to perform at the “Meeting,” an annual holiday in Italy, as Ambassadors of the US. The group also shared billing on other programs with other artists such as Cab Calloway, O.C. Smith, The Nicholas Brothers, and the Mills Brothers, to name a few.
Curtis was also a member the gospel group Bennie Henderson & Family who have recorded with Melvin Seals, musician in the Jerry Garcia Band. They recorded background vocals for gospel artists such as James Moore and Wanda Nero-Butler among others. Curtis had the opportunity to sing onstage with Motown’s legendary Funk Brothers, the house band who recorded numerous hits for Motown artists and had more hits than the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Beach Boys and Elvis Presley combined. And in 2007, Curtis received a nomination for the Bay Area’s Black music Award for Best Male Gospel Soloist.
Currently, he sings in choirs the Allen Temple Baptist Church under the direction of Dr. Alvin McLean, where he is a member.
Russell K Shores
Published February 7, 2011Russell Kenji Shores born in New York has a varied and impressive resume. Nick -named Thor or Thunder baby by his peers for his thunderous grooves, he began playing bass at age twelve. Armed with a degree in music, he began his professional career.
Russell has shared the stage with Diana Ross, Julian Lennon, Unified Tribe , The Kevin Fowler band ,Lucid Dream, The Steve O” Neil band, The Major Burkes band, The ACC jazz band, The Blues Specialist which festures Mel Davis cousin of the legendary T Bone Walker,Elliott Fikes and Soul Sereanade as musical director, Austin Alibi,Wesley United Methodist Church The First Baptist Church ,Mt. Zion Baptist Church and The Freedom Home Baptist Church Mass Choir under the leadership of Pastor O.B Howard Jr.
Russell is also on Staff as the electric and contra bass Teacher at the Academy of Music in Austin Tx. Russell plays and has the endosment of M.T.D basses and U. S Master Guitar fretless bass and MTD strings and Visual Sound pedals and Tec Amps and AccuGroove speaker cabs.

At the end of 2007, Vince had begun having regular jam sessions with a few local bands one band in particular a progressive rock group Vilgot caught his attention, he played alongside guitarist Henrik Widing, the two guitarists hit it off immediately even though the styles were to say the least,, at two extremes of the, scale, They recorded an old rain men song that Vince had wrote years earlier, “Easy Money” recorded live and on a small computer in the rehearsal room it managed to captured the raw energy that rock music is all about., baby you got me, two steps behind, mary go round, the blackest heart were all recorded live on that small computer.
For the next few months Henrik and Vince, tried out and had jam sessions with numerous musicians, as good as some of the jam sessions were nothing really jelled or felt right at the time. That was until the day Jarmo Vehmanen walked into the rehearsal room The jam session was electrifying, Stone Ticket was born.

Writing music comes natural to me, it’s my passion. I’ve written songs in the past, but didn’t have them recorded, my family always came first.
After my husband passed away last year from cancer, I started to write and record songs to help me go on with life. it has helped me heal.

Ever since I was a little girl, I have loved music.I wrote my first song at the age of 10.I have never been ‘a normal kid.’ I have been home schooled most of my life, I didn’t fit in at normal elementary school… most kids couldn’t understand why I’d rather sing than braid hair or talk about boys.
Throughout my seventeen years on this planet I have been places, and experienced things that most people my age could not imagine. I have written with Grammy Award Winning Writers, I have been followed and documented by German and British TV crews. I’ve been in numerous top selling magazines, recorded all over the world, my music has been played all across Europe, and I’ve made a music video on an Island off the Coast of Africa as well as in England. With all of this and more under my belt, I know my future is bright as long as I keep my feet on the ground, stay focused and have the support of my wonderful fans. I still have a long way to go. And that’s where this little bio ends, because the rest is unwritten!
Taylor Horn is a teen singer/songwriter whose music is all about female empowerment and finding one’s identity through danceable pop/rock tunes. She also play’s the guitar.She has written with Grammy award winning writers such as, Don Rollins, Danny Wells, & Tommy Harden.
In 2008 Taylor collaborated with Tim Bennett, lead singer of the UK based band ‘Civilized Tears.’ Taylor has written many songs with Tim, including her newest songs ‘PAINT THE TOWN PINK’, ‘BACK UP’, and ‘WHAT I CAN’T DO’ AND ALSO THEIR DUET ‘TEARS’.
Taylor has been featured on: “Access Hollywood”, “BLITZ”. “ABC News” New Orleans and “CBS News” Baton Rouge. She has also been filmed by “Betty TV” of the UK.. Joe Berry is a inductee in the “Traditional Country Hall of Fame”, Singing some songs in a Hollywood movie, performing member of “ The Traditional Country Opry, and has shared the stage with some of The biggest names in country music. He has appeared many times on the Stage of “ The Ernest Tubb Midnight Jamboree ad is a National and International touring artist.
Joe just completed writing and recording an all original twelve song CD Titled “ The Honkytonk Highway” on “Hearts Records” which is already Considered a possible candidate for a hit by NBC and BBC networks though Uplaya a song rating service. The first night aired on my 105.9 country In forty minutes time the station received thirty phone calls asking who the Artist is, what is the title, and where could they buy it. Joe is scheduled to Do a interview with Stephan Kent on my 105.9 in a show called “ The Country Yarn, Joe and his band are looking forward to touring the rest of this year 2010 and Following a great record.
