Biography:
Loaves and fishes is an inter-denominational
group represented by several churches in our
area, most notably RCF, UFF, HDCC, and Horizon
Christian Church. We meet Thursday evenings
at 5:30 pm at Barbara Bennett Park /Basketball
Courts near the Truckee River in downtown Reno,
NV. The people we minister to are multi-cultural,
and multi-generational. All are welcome at Church
on the River! We desire to see people's lives
impacted for the Kingdom of God We provide food,
clothing and the Gospel to anywhere from 30
to 100 people. We believe developing relationships,
and trust coupled with prayer is of utmost importance.
We invite people to attend local churches, and
provide rides to get them there. Praise God
that prayers are being answered for jobs, and
housing.
