I’ve been in radio since 1970. I started out as a Top 40 jock. In addition to being in radio, I also played local Night Clubs as a Disco Spinner in the Philadelphia area. I experienced to whole night club scene and made a mess out of my life. I should have been an alcoholic and drug addict, but God had another plan for my life.

After I moved to Orlando, in 1981, I dedicated my life to serving the Lord. I could no longer work for secular radio and play songs that had the wrong message. In 1985, I founded The INtro. I was immediately introduced to a Short Wave network and started broadcasting around the world. After seeing how much impact Christian music was having, I knew I was on the right track.

In 1995, I moved to Roanoke, Va. and met my partner. We changed The INtro to the format it is today. All UnSigned Christian artists. Each week, I present 4 artists for you to listen to and vote for your favorite. We call it The INtro INdie contest. It’s a little bit of American Idol, on the internet and over your local radio stations.

The INtro is all about reaching Teens and Young Adults with the message of Peace, Hope, Love and Salvation through Jesus Christ. Our hope is that The INtro will be a place where kids can come and hear great Rock Music, with a positive message.
