The music on OINK! is all about hooky power pop. The common denominator on all the tracks is WESTEN's quirky and eclectic mix of what pop music is all about. His layer until it hurts approach to creating music is a key element to THE PIGS "Wall of Pop" sound. Each song is like a musical skyscraper—built layer upon layer until the pinnacle is cemented in place. You might not hear it all the first time or the second time. That's what keeps it interesting. Every time you give it a listen you will hear parts that you missed the time before; you will see more of the colors, taste more of the flavors. It just keeps getting better and better.

The lyrics are about us--what we do and why we do it. The messages are clear...it's important to party...don't be afraid to ask for love...let's find paradise and move there...love will find you when you least expect it...give people space to be themselves...love can make you hurt...it's ok to run from danger...it's too bad we hurt the ones we love...and keep doing the things you do so right!
